Asian universities have dominated global synthetic intelligence (AI) rankings, with 18 of the world’s prime 20 establishments for AI training situated in Asia, most of them in China, in keeping with the most recent CS Rankings (Computer Science Rankings).
According to the rankings, all the world’s prime 10 universities in AI between late 2025 and January 2026 are based mostly in Asia, with China taking eight positions together with the highest seven. Singapore and South Korea every contribute one establishment to the highest 10.
