(NCS) — “Wicked” stars Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey are teaming up once more.
The duo will star in a brand new stage manufacturing of Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical, “Sunday In The Park With George,” in accordance with an announcement made on social media Wednesday.
The musical will debut in summer season 2027 at London’s Barbican Centre. It is about to be directed by Marianne Elliott and have the work of award profitable costume designer Tom Scutt.
Earlier on Wednesday, Grande and Bailey jointly posted a photo of themselves on Instagram sitting in entrance of Georges Seurat’s well-known portray “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.”
That masterpiece, painted from 1884 to 1886, was the inspiration for the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical “Sunday in the Park with George” and there’s a report that Grande and Bailey will star in a London revival of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine hit.
Deadline reported completely final month that the revival was in the early levels of planning.
