WANA (Mar 29) – Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, reacted to reported assaults on universities by the United States and Israel in a put up on X, saying: “Israel and its partner-in-crime believe that knowledge can be bombed away.”
He added, “It’s reflected in the murders of Iran’s scientists and attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, and now universities.”
He concluded, “Reality check: your actions ooze of desperation and only inspire more pursuit of knowledge…”
His remarks come following the U.S.-Israeli assaults on Iranian universities, Isfahan University of Technology, and Tehran University of Science and Industry.
Following these assaults on Iranian universities, the IRGC, in an announcement, declared American universities within the West Asia area and Israeli universities as ‘legitimate targets’ for scientific and army retaliation.
