Anderson Cooper says he's exiting from '60 Minutes,' staying with CNN

Anderson Cooper, who has reported for CBS’ “60 Minutes” for the previous 20 years along with internet hosting a weeknight information program on NCS, stated Monday that he’s leaving the CBS broadcast to spend extra time with his household.

His choice comes at a time of turmoil at “60 Minutes.” Cooper appeared on the present Sunday evening, introducing a short piece on filmmaker Ken Burns. It’s not prone to be his final time on the present; he’s anticipated to complete the present broadcast season, which ends in May.
