On February 28, 2026, the Engineers’ Council hosted its annual Honors and Awards Banquet at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, persevering with its longstanding custom of recognizing excellent contributions in science, expertise, engineering and arithmetic (STEM). Fourteen of this yr’s honorees are college members of CSUN’s Andrew J. Anagnost College of Engineering and Computer Science. Among them, David M. Boyajian and Kyle Dewey obtained the Distinguished Engineering Educator Award, recognizing distinctive contributions to engineering schooling and educational management.

The celebration additionally honored rising and established leaders within the subject. Rasoul Narimani and Tohid Sardarmehni had been acknowledged with the Future Technology Leader Award for vital early-career achievements, and the Outstanding Engineering Achievement Merit Award was introduced to Rais Ahmad, Qais Amarkhil, Marjan Asadinia, Rashida Hasan, Brad Jackson, Aram Khachatourians, Bingbing Li, Melih Papila, Maya Pishvar and Maryam Tabibzadeh for his or her impactful contributions to analysis, innovation and engineering follow. The night was a proud second for the CSUN Anagnost College, highlighting the continued excellence and management of its college in advancing STEM fields.
