To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten choice, college students have to be on a varsity crew (as verified by being on the official squad listing), have been enrolled full time at a Big Ten establishment for a minimal of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point common of three.0 or greater.
The alternatives for the Spartans embody the sports activities of males’s and ladies’s basketball, hockey, gymnastics, and wrestling.
Three Spartans can boast excellent 4.0 cumulative GPAs: ladies’s basketball participant Emma Shumate (Dresden, Ohio), gymnast Stephanie Lebster (Holland, Mich.) and wrestler Andy Hampton (Rochester, Mich.).
