Another day, one other debate on a political channel.
This time on NCS’s NewsEvening, the phase started with the subject of Democratic Senators posting a video on Twitter on November 18 to remind members of the army and the Intelligence Community that they’ll “refuse illegal orders.” Here’s the total video beneath:
It was additionally mentioned how President Donald Trump responded to the video, which concerned writing on Truth Social just a few days later that the democratic senators must be locked up, “punishable by DEATH,” and reposting a post that stated “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”
Of course, this sparked a HUGE debate on the NCS present, starting with Paul Rieckhoff, an Iraq War veteran and founder and CEO of the Independent Veterans of America, saying, “Sitting here between this as it continues to go on, this is how our military feels right now…” Paul is referencing the loud arguing that is occurring on the desk. “They like they’re in the middle of this.”
In the center of Paul speaking, Ben Ferguson, a conservative podcast and TV present host, jumped in saying, “Then don’t put out the video.”

“I’m still talking,” Paul instantly responded.
Paul then finishes his assertion, “…by feeling like a political chew toy in the middle of this madness. The president has a unique responsibility to set the command climate, to set the tone, and to set the example. He has to be more careful with his language, especially when he talks about things like execution.”
Ben cuts him off a second time, including, “So do Democrats!”
“Can you please let me finish?” Paul asks. “I show you respect; show me respect. That’s what needs to happen in this country — and the president has to show respect. He has to show honor, he has to show integrity.”
He continues: “Yesterday he known as a woman ‘piggy.’ Now, he is calling an astronaut, who’s a Navy veteran, a traitor. He must be extra cautious and exact along with his language, particularly as a result of he is the Commander-in-Chief.”
Ben — who apparently would not perceive — lower Paul off once more by saying, “Democrats known as him a Nazi, a Nazi. They known as him a Nazi and a Fascist. They celebrated when he obtained shot. Don’t lecture us about ‘phrases,’ please.”

Host Abby Phillip then interjected with a reality bomb: “Alright, the sitting vice president also called him a ‘Nazi,’ so do not… do not go there.”
What Abby is referring to is a now-deleted personal Facebook message that he despatched to Josh McLaurin, an outdated Yale Law School roommate, throughout Trump’s 2016 marketing campaign path that stated, “I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler. How’s that for discouraging?”
And let’s just say Ben’s face is…*chef kiss*
