On October 5, 2025, a delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by the G.Mezilov, Rector of the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, took half in the twenty second annual assembly of the forum “The Role of Science and Technology in Society (STS)”, which was held in Kyoto, Japan. The convention included an official opening ceremony, introductory speeches, a plenary session, and thematic periods.
The official opening of the STS forum was attended by Emperor Naruhito of Japan and high-level delegations from a quantity of international locations round the world.
During the convention, the Turkmenistan delegation held conferences and discussions on points geared toward increasing cooperation between international locations in the fields of science, expertise, innovation, and training.
