56 HSTU teachers to receive research grants this year
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) – A complete of 56 teachers of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) will receive research grants totaling Taka 83,25,000 from the Ministry of Science and Technology this year, official sources stated right here in the present day.
A letter despatched from the Ministry of Science and Technology confirmed the matter to HSTU authorities, in accordance to a launch issued by the Director of the Public Relations Department of the college, Md Khademul Islam.
The ministry has already authorized 662 research initiatives below its science and know-how programme. (*56*) these, a complete of 28 HSTU teachers have been chosen as Chief Researchers in 28 initiatives, whereas one other 28 teachers will work as their assistants.
HSTU Registrar Professor Dr Md Abu Hasan stated that the college’s teachers are engaged in numerous research actions all through the year. The latest grants will facilitate its continuation. The college administration will make sure that the teachers can make the most of the funds correctly.
