Four Charleston-area hotels and one other in Beaufort County have earned a spot on a brand new list from Condé Nast Traveler that acknowledges the world’s most adorned luxurious properties.
To mark 30 years of its lodging rankings, the journey publication recognized a choose group worldwide which have earned a spot in all three of its signature accolades — the Hot List, the Gold List and the Readers’ Choice Awards — to provide you with a brand new class of “Triple Crown” winners.
Condé Nast described the gathering as its “most definitive list of the world’s best hotels.”
Five Palmetto State getaways have been among the many greater than 100 U.S. properties to make the minimize: Zero George, The Dewberry, Wentworth Mansion, The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, all within the Charleston space, and Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton.
The journal and it subscribers are longtime followers of Charleston, which in 2025 was named the nation’s “Best Small City” for the fourth consecutive 12 months within the annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
