We, ~ 300 STEM fraternity largely in India, want to document our critical concern and powerful objection to the conduct of sure Indian teachers in the course of the latest International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) in Mumbai, inaugurated by you on twelfth August. These college members belong to prestigious analysis institutes of India, such because the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE-TIFR), the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR), the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA-TIFR), and the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI, Chennai). Around 500 members have participated on this assembly, and it now seems to us {that a} scientific assembly has been transformed by among the members right into a geopolitical train by some with the purpose of embarrassing the Government of India in its relations with the State of Israel.
