Iranian-born judoka Saeid Mollaei tells NCS’s Amanda Davies he fears for Iran’s women’s soccer team after they declined to sing the nationwide anthem on the Asian Cup. Seven team members had been granted visas in Australia, however 5 have since withdrawn their asylum bids and left. Mollaei defected in 2019 after a dispute with Iranian officers.
