CLEVELAND, Ohio – A complete of 10 discipline hockey student-athletes from the Mid-American Conference earned nationwide crew recognition from Synapse Sports, together with 5 All-American nods and 6 All-Rookie Team picks.
The Miami RedHawks confirmed a pair of All-Americans as senior Berta Mata was named First-Team All-American and Malena Sabez added Second-Team All-American honors as nicely a spot on the nationwide all-rookie crew. Joining Sabez on the all-rookie crew have been Jülia Fernandez, Bet Gifra and Justina Intzes.
The Massachusetts Minutewomen added three All-Americans in senior Gabrielle Benkenstein, senior Myrte van Herwijnen, and sophomore Elani Sherwood. All three Minutewomen garnered Third Team All-American accolades.
