President Donald Trump’s trade adviser Peter Navarro stated Sunday that “it will be the end of the United States” if the president’s sweeping tariffs are in the end blocked by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Navarro’s feedback echoed Trump’s personal rhetoric because the president sharply criticized final week’s 7-4 appeals court decision, which dominated that the majority of Trump’s tariffs are unlawful, inserting a central tenet of the administration’s financial agenda on shaky floor.
