(NCS) — President Donald Trump introduced Monday that he plans to file a $15 billion defamation and libel lawsuit against The New York Times.
“Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against The New York Times,” Trump wrote in a put up on his social media platform, Truth Social.
The lawsuit could be filed in Florida, Trump stated, with out offering additional particulars.
NCS reached out to the New York Times for remark.
The president accused the newspaper of constructing false statements about him, his household and his companies, although he didn’t elaborate on the allegations.
