# Slow Horses Renewed for Seventh Installment

The sixth season of Slow Horses has been renewed for a seventh installment, which is expected to premiere around September 2027.

Slow Horses Season 7: Renewed for Another Installment

The sixth season of Slow Horses has left fans eagerly anticipating what's next, particularly after its cliffhanger ending. Fortunately, there's some good news to share - the show has been officially renewed for a seventh season. In July 2025, Deadline reported that the popular series will indeed be returning.

A new scandal is brewing in the world of MI5, according to the official synopsis of the book on which the series is based. The Downing Street superforecaster, who advises the Prime Minister's office on policy reception, has mysteriously gone missing without a trace.

Claude Whelan's investigation into the disappearance has led him back to a surprising location: Regent's Park itself. As he digs deeper, First Desk Diana Taverner emerges as a prime suspect in his eyes. The trail of clues is complex, but one thing is certain - Taverner's reputation as a skilled operative is being put to the test.

Taverner's Russian counterpart has also made an unexpected appearance in London, having managed to shake off his escort. This development raises questions about whether there is a connection between the two events. The presence of this Moscow intelligence officer adds a new layer of complexity to the situation.

Back at Slough House, the slow horses are navigating the chaos caused by these events. Led by Jackson Lamb, they continue to operate outside the mainstream, often causing more problems than solutions. Despite their reputation for getting results, there is no guarantee that they will be able to untangle this web of intrigue and deception.

The seventh installment of the popular spy drama series Slow Horses has not been given a premiere date yet.

Production timelines suggest that Season 7 could arrive in fall 2027, following the same pattern as previous seasons which aired in September of their respective years. This would mean that fans can expect the new season to hit screens around September 2027 if all goes according to plan.

The release schedule for Slow Horses has been consistent, with each season premiering in the fall of its respective year. Season 6 arrived on Apple TV in September 2026, while Season 5 aired a year earlier in September 2025.
