WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – The seedings and pairings for Section 3 football are as follows:
Class A: fifth seed Carthage travels to 4th seed Auburn for a gap spherical sport Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Class B: 4th seed Indian River hosts fifth seed Central Valley Academy and eighth seed South Jeff visits top-seeded New Hartford, each are set for Thursday at 6 p.m.
Class C: 2nd seed General Brown hosts seventh seed Bishop Ludden/SAS Thursday night time at 7 p.m.
Class D: Top seed Lowville performs host to eighth seed Mount Markham, 4th seed Sandy Creek hosts fifth seed Utica Notre Dame, and sixth seed Beaver River travels to third seed Cato-Meridian. All of these matchups are set to kickoff Thursday at 6 p.m.
8-Man: 4th seed Thousand Islands hosts fifth seed Sauquoit Valley Friday night time at 7 p.m., and sixth seed South Lewis is at third seed Waterville Thursday night time at 6 p.m.
