SANFORD (WGME) — Students at Sanford High School got a firsthand look Wednesday at how science and know-how are essential to the Navy, whereas stepping right into a virtual reality.
The Navy’s new “strike group” put students into three completely different interactive challenges. Using virtual reality headsets, they had been put onto an plane provider’s flight deck and needed to work collectively to start out a naval mission.
Organizers say it is a possibility for students to learn about the Navy as a profession path.
