SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) — Samsung Group stated Friday it has spent 1.14 trillion won (US$782 million) since 2013 to fund basic science research for the tutorial group as a part of its efforts to advertise sustainable growth.

The high South Korean conglomerate made the announcement through the Samsung Science and Technology Annual Forum held in Seoul, the place enterprise and educational leaders mentioned the way forward for basic science research.

Samsung stated 91 organizations and 16,000 researchers, together with 14,000 engineering and science graduate college students, have participated in tasks funded by the enterprise group since 2013.

The firm stated the funding program goals to foster “creative and challenging research projects” throughout science and know-how fields, together with basic science, supplies and ICT convergence.
