NILES — Robert E. Woodward, 70, handed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Hospice House in Poland.
He was born Sept. 29, 1955, in Warren, the son of Robert R. and Edith Coudriet Woodward. Young Bobby spent the primary eight years of his life rising up in small Niles and attending native public colleges.
At the age of 8, he, his mom and stepfather headed out West to San Jose, California, to begin a brand new life, the place he quickly welcomed two youthful brothers. When he was 10, the household of 5 moved simply down the highway to Big Redwood Park of Los Gatos in a house surrounded by the massive timber for which it was aptly named. He was preceded in demise by his father, Robert R. Woodward; his stepfather, Jennings Dodrill; grandparents, Lula Woodward, and Icie and James Coudriet; uncles, James Strong and Tom Woodward; aunts, Jean and Shirley; and his brother, David Dodrill.
A navy service shall be held at Niles City Veterans Section on a date but to be decided.
