River North’s Acme still among world’s 50 best hotels, says Condé Nast Traveler


11-Oct-20 – A 130-room resort in River North stays among the many world’s 50 greatest lodges, in line with Condé Nast Traveler.

ACME Lodge Firm on East Ohio Road ranked #36 within the journey journal’s thirty third annual Readers’ Alternative Awards, introduced on October 6. It’s the resort’s fourth 12 months on the checklist.

Chosen lodges, the journal informed its readers, are “the locations that stayed with you in a 12 months when journey could have been out of attain.”

Condé Nast Traveler calls ACME a “hipster resort” with “a tech bent” and mentions its free 100 MB bandwidth Wi-Fi, keyless room entry through an app, an Amazon Echo in each visitor room, and ESP Guitar in each suite.

“It’s not all gadgetry, although,” says the journal. “Killer cocktails will be present in all three of the resort’s bars: the scene-y Berkshire Room, the comfortable Bodega Bar, and Bunny Slope, an après-ski themed lounge full with a Jacuzzi.”

Final October, readers of the journal voted ACME Lodge Firm, which is managed by Insurgent Hospitality, one of the best resort in Chicago.

Greater than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers voted on this 12 months’s Readers’ Alternative Awards. Additionally successful an award was Chicago, voted one of the best giant metropolis in the US.
