Microsoft Azure has joined the National Institutes of Health’s Science and Technology Research Infrastructure for Discovery, Experimentation, and Sustainability (STRIDES) Initiative as the latest cloud service supplier to assist biomedical research. The addition of this newest trade associate will additional the STRIDES Initiative’s intention to speed up biomedical research in the cloud by lowering financial and course of obstacles in addition to offering cost-effective entry to cloud platforms, coaching, cloud specialists, and greatest practices for optimizing research in the cloud.

Using the cloud, researchers can now search the total catalog of genomic knowledge and benefit from the computational instruments for evaluation.

A central tenet of the STRIDES Initiative is that knowledge made accessible via these partnerships will incorporate requirements endorsed by the biomedical research neighborhood to make knowledge Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
