Michaela Coel has joined the cast of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

The movie will probably be the sequel to Marvel’s “Black Panther,” and Variety stories that Coel is at the moment filming at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, the place manufacturing started final month.

She joins an ensemble cast that features Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett

Coel wrote and starred in the HBO Max collection “I May Destroy You.” She acquired 4 Emmy nominations for her work on the present earlier this month.

Coel’s different credit embody the Netflix applications “Black Mirror” and “Chewing Gum,” and the function movies “Been So Long” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

Coel’s character in “Wakanda Forever” shouldn’t be but recognized.
