SLEEPY EYE — A 13-run second inning helped the Mankato Nationals down Sleepy Eye 17-3 in 5 innings of a first-round Division 1, Substate 2 legion baseball playoff recreation at Eagles Park on Wednesday.

Zander Dittman led the Nationals with a three-run homer and 5 RBIs whole on two hits.

Sleepy Eye obtained three hits from Jackson Huiras and two from Arian Saenz within the loss.

Sleepy Eye now falls to the elimination bracket and can tackle Jordan at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Sleepy Eye.
