# Lucas Gabriel Faces Magomed Magomedov at ONE Fight Night 49

Brazilian martial artist Lucas Gabriel will face Magomed Magomedov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 49 on November 6.

Brazilian martial artist Lucas Gabriel is set to face Magomed Magomedov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 49 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 6.

Gabriel's opponent was initially supposed to be Alibeg Rasulov, a former ONE Lightweight MMA World Title challenger from Turkey. However, an injury forced Rasulov off the card, allowing Magomedov to step in on short notice.

Magomedov boasts an impressive unbeaten record of 15-0, but Gabriel is confident that he can adapt to his new opponent's style. He notes that Magomedov has a similar fighting approach to Rasulov, which means he hasn't had to make significant changes to his training camp.

Gabriel, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with powerful striking skills, believes that Magomedov will stick to his traditional Dagestani wrestling roots and is prepared to counter him accordingly.

Lucas Gabriel is confident that he has an advantage over his opponent Magomedov in every aspect of the fight. He believes that Magomedov's reliance on grappling leaves openings in his stand-up game, which Gabriel plans to exploit.

Gabriel is aiming for a finish in the fight and wants it to end with a highlight-reel moment. A win would be his seventh consecutive appearance without defeat in ONE Championship and would put him in a strong position to challenge for the lightweight title.

Beating an undefeated opponent like Magomedov would undoubtedly boost Gabriel's career, and he is eager to make it happen. He is determined not to leave the outcome of the fight to the judges' decision, preferring instead to finish the contest with a decisive victory.

Gabriel thinks that a statement win in Bangkok would propel him into contention for the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title. The timing of such a victory could be particularly opportune, given the current situation in the lightweight division.

The stakes are high for Lucas Gabriel as he prepares to face Magomed Magomedov at ONE Fight Night 49, a bout that could have significant implications for his own future in the lightweight division.

Magomedov's unbeaten record is on the line, and a win over him would be a major coup for Gabriel. Moreover, a victory of this magnitude would also give him a strong claim to being considered among the top contenders in the division.

Gabriel has been training hard in Phuket, determined to put on a show at ONE Fight Night 49 and emerge victorious against his unbeaten opponent, who has racked up five consecutive finishes in his professional career.
