At least 5 individuals had been killed and a number of other injured in a taking pictures attack in Jerusalem on Monday morning, Israeli police and emergency services mentioned.
Among these killed was a person in his 50s and three males in their 30s, Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s emergency response service, mentioned, including that 5 individuals with severe gunshot wounds had been taken to hospital.
The MDA had mentioned earlier that roughly 15 individuals had been injured in the taking pictures.
Two attackers arrived by car at the Ramot Junction in Jerusalem and opened hearth towards a bus cease, Israeli police mentioned in a press release.
A safety officer and a civilian at the scene returned hearth, “neutralizing” the attackers, the assertion added.
“Large police forces, under the command of the District Commander, are securing the area. Police bomb disposal units are ensuring the area is safe, while forensic teams are gathering evidence.”
