YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. Eugene McMullen, 85, Youngstown, went dwelling to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Eugene was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Youngstown, to Willie and Addie McMullen.

Eugene “Geno” was a graduate of South High School and Bluffton College. He performed a number of sports activities, soccer, observe and area, swimming and fencing. He was recognized for his uncanny capability to remain underwater longer than typical and often called a swim legend. Geno spent a few years serving to the neighborhood as a licensed social employee, retiring as soon as from Ohio BVR, then once more from D&E clinic.

He leaves to cherish in his reminiscence, a son, Jamie McMullen of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Jennifer McMullen of Youngstown: two grandchildren, Hope Williams and J’Lynn Poole; and a bunch of nieces, nephews, different family and mates.

He was preceded in demise by his mother and father; spouse, Mary McMullen; two sisters, Ethel Hollinger and Willa Mae Cole; and a brother, Herman McMullen.

The household will obtain mates from 11 a.m. to midday Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.,the place a personal funeral service for rapid household solely will observe.
