
BEIJING — China launched its first national science popularization month on Monday, beginning a 30-day nationwide carnival of science.
Organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the actions will highlight scientific innovation achievements, have a good time the scientific spirit and the legacy of scientists, and make science accessible to the general public.
Opening ceremonies have been held on the National Communication Center For Science and Technology and the China Science and Technology Museum in Beijing — with greater than 100 associated exhibitions and actions deliberate for September. Among them is a particular exhibition on Chinese scientists throughout the Chinese People’s War of Resistance towards Japanese Aggression, to mark the eightieth anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance towards Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
China’s revised Science and Technology Popularization Law, which took impact on December 25, 2024, designated September because the annual national science popularization month.
