HFA, a Bentonville-based structure and engineering firm, introduced Monday (Nov. 3) that it has acquired TRIA, a Boston-based structure firm recognized for its life sciences and laboratory design. Financial phrases of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The acquisition marks HFA’s entry into the science and expertise sector, one of many fastest-growing and technically advanced industries. With the addition of TRIA, HFA launched its Life Sciences and Technology sector and “will deliver comprehensive, future-ready solutions that support clients from discovery to deployment,” in response to a information launch.
TRIA was based in 2015 and has partnered with biotech, pharmaceutical and analysis organizations within the Boston area. Its portfolio contains analysis and growth labs, GMP biomanufacturing amenities and workplaces for scientists.
