Amazon will let employees work remotely two days a week

Amazon is giving its company employees better flexibility to work remotely, the corporate said Thursday, in a important U-turn from its earlier return-to-work steerage.

In an inside memo despatched to employees, Amazon stated it expects employees to work within the workplace three days a week, leaving them the choice to work remotely as much as two days a week. Leadership groups will decide what days employees will be required to work from the workplace, the corporate stated.

In May, Google said it expects 20% of its employees to work from residence after its workplaces reopen later this yr.
